We are delighted to have completed the first stage of our Nkolonga Health Post renovation project! It’s a been a long haul but it’s made an incredible difference for the clinic team and for the 10,000+ patients that access basic health care here.
- Replaced all damaged doors, a door frame and all door locks.
- Repaired and replaced windows and glass and installed additional burglar steel bars for security.
- Replaced the concrete floor in the ART room.
- Repaired the leaks in the roof and replaced damaged roofing sheets.
- Removed and replaced all the faulty electrics and installed external LED security lights.
- Replaced the floor in the maternity ward with tiles for improved sanitation and hygiene.
- Built new shelving units for patient records, a new cupboard for filing and repaired existing storage.
- Installed new curtain rails and new curtains for privacy.
- Repaired and repainted all the walls.
