We are excited to be in the early stages of taking on another Mission Geeks project and this time it’s a school! Mukwashi Trust School is an inspiring place run by inspiring people. Against all odds the school has grown from strength to strength under the watchful eye of Judah the head teacher over the last 13 years.

Laura Manni, one of Mukwashi’s directors, has achieved an incredible feat over the years expanding and improving the school to where it now provides an excellent education to more than 350 children!

Water is critical for a school and Mukwashi has struggled to secure a decent water supply over the years. Laura has asked Mission Geeks to look into whether we could provide a more reliable solar-based water system for their borehole and we are currently exploring and costing several different options  as well as looking into rain-water harvesting.
